What are Ad Breaks ?
Ad breaks
are short ads you can add in your eligible videos to earn money. Ads are placed
at natural breaks in your content or you can choose your own placements.
Supported
countries today include the U.S., UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. From
1st September
this feature has been launched through out the world.
Facebook has
also launched Creator Studio, where Pages can manage their whole content
library and business. This involves the ability to search across their library
to view post-level details and insights, as well as manage interactions across
Pages, Facebook Messages, comments, and Instagram. Other tools here focus on
using Ad Breaks, viewing monetization and payments, and publishing the videos.
Who is eligible for Ad Breaks ?
Creators have
to meet these criteria to be eligible for ad breaks.
1. Monetization Eligibility Standards :
It's
important to be familiar with these standards, not only to be eligible for ad
breaks, but to stay eligible.
2. Minute Views for 3-Minute Videos :
This metric
helps determine how successfully you'll be able to monetize with ad breaks. In
the last 60 days, you need to have had 30,000 one-minute views on videos that
are at least 3 minutes long.
3. 10,000 Followers :
Videos must be published from a
Page not from a profile that has at least 10,000 followers.
